What a cookie is here
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser at our request. KikGoal uses cookies to run the service, to remember your interface choices and, only if you accept it, to measure the results of its advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the service to work and cannot be refused while you use it. Blocking them prevents signing in and breaks protection against forged requests.
They cover the authenticated session and its security, and the record of your cookie decision so that you are not asked again on each page.
Preference cookies
These cookies remember the interface language, the light or dark theme and the selected time zone. Refusing them keeps the service usable; your choices are simply not remembered between visits.
Advertising cookies (Meta)
If you accept them, and only then, KikGoal loads the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland). Meta then sets its own cookies (_fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from an ad) and receives the pages you view, your browser’s technical details and network address and, when you buy a subscription, the purchase with its amount and currency, so that we can tell which ads lead to subscriptions. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy. If you refuse, the pixel is not loaded, no advertising cookie is set and nothing is sent to Meta.
How the choice is recorded
Your decision is stored with its date, the version of this policy and the language in which it was presented, so that an updated policy can ask you again instead of assuming an old answer.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from this page. Withdrawal applies going forward and does not retroactively cancel what has already been stored on your device.
How long cookies last
Session cookies last for the authenticated session. Preference cookies last up to twelve months. Meta’s advertising cookies last up to ninety days. The consent record is kept for up to six months before the choice is requested again.
Browser controls
Your browser can also block or delete cookies. Deleting them removes your recorded decision, so the request will be shown again on your next visit.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. Each update is published under a new version, and a new version asks for your decision again.
